To encourage students’ enthusiasm in pursuing excellence and educational opportunities, KAMMI Merah Putih Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) organized a Scholarship Seminar and Talk Show under the theme “A First Step Toward Dreams: The Secret to Winning Scholarships” on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Multipurpose Hall, Faculty of Psychology, USU.

The discussion was moderated by Siti Mariani Saragi, who led the session in an engaging and interactive manner.
Through this seminar, participants received insights on scholarship application strategies, preparation for selection processes, and motivation to keep achieving despite limitations. The event also provided networking opportunities, complimentary refreshments, and rewards for the most active participants as a token of appreciation.
The organizing committee emphasized that the purpose of this activity is to raise awareness that scholarship opportunities are open to anyone willing to strive and prepare diligently.
“We want students to understand that scholarships are not only about academic scores, but also about perseverance, contribution, and consistency in personal growth,” said the committee chairperson.
With the spirit of “Strong Action, Devout Worship, Outstanding Achievement,” KAMMI Merah Putih USU hopes that this seminar becomes a stepping stone for students to realize their dreams and make a positive contribution to national progress toward Golden Indonesia 2045.
